Community Trust Bank Expands, Relocates Headquarters

In the five years since Louisiana-based Community Trust Bank entered the Dallas market, its assets have gone from $800 million to a projected $1 billion by the end of the year. Having grown out of its first offices at Preston Center, the bank’s Headquarters is relocating to Two Turtle Creek. Some of the Preston Center retail and office space will be kept for back office use. The neighborhood will remain an important market for the bank.

Community Trust focuses on lending to small and medium sized companies. Half of its loans fund commercial and industrial projects and half fund real estate investment in properties throughout DFW. The bank loans a range of hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions with the capacity to lend $60 million.

Relocation of bank’s retail operations is expected by the end of September and by October for the corporate offices.
