New Construction on West Davis in N Oak Cliff

An old building on Davis at Llewellyn has been razed and a new one is planned for construction. The new building will be slightly larger, at 2,542-sq ft with an outdoor patio space.

The old space had been built in the late 1940s and used as a service station and garage until Gloria’s Salvadorian restaurant opened there. For more than twenty years the Gloria’s restaurant cultivated a following there and opened two other Dallas-area Gloria’s locations. In 2011 the restaurant moved to a larger location and the building has remained vacant.

The owner, Jose Fuentes has collaborated with architect Matthew Crittenden on the new design.
