DFW: Happiest in the Nation
Harris Interactive released its list of the “happiest” cities among the Top 10 markets in the United States, ranking the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area at the top. Residents reported in the Harris poll that 38 percent of them are “very happy”, while only 33 percent of people nationwide are “very happy.” The study expanded on the Dallas Forth Worth assessment, identifying that 78 percent of residents are more likely to say their spiritual beliefs are a positive influence on their lives, and 59 percent of residents rarely worry about their health.
Houston ranked second, with 36 percent of residents responding that they are “very happy”, and Philadelphia ranked third at 36 percent.
