Telecom firm moving headquarters to Dallas
CPD Mobile is moving its headquarters to Dallas. The telecom firm – a wireless equipment distributor and servicer – will be moving its main office from the Atlanta suburb of Norcross to temporary space in the Executive Center office complex, at N. Central Expressway and LBJ Freeway.
The move will position their company more centrally to manufacturers who complete their fulfillment needs, allowing their inventory to move faster and less expensively. They anticipate passing the savings on to resellers, who will be able to offer lower prices to customers. Founded in 2009 as the Cell Phone Depot, the company distributes its products through 1500 U.S. retail locations.
The firm is still looking for a larger permanent office. Presently 47 employees work in their Atlanta office. SOme employees may remain in Atlanta, but the bulk of the CPD Mobile operations will move to Dallas. They expect to hire at least 12 new employees in Dallas.
