Cienda Partners recently purchased the 16-acre property that has been the Oak Cliff Dairy for almost 80 years. The property is on the edge of the Oak Cliff neighborhood abutting the Trinity River, at the foot of the Jefferson and Houston bridges. With the uninterrupted views of downtown and zoning to allow high-rise, the parcel could accommodate up to 1,000 apartments and 600,000 square feet of commercial space. The location is across from Oak Cliff Founders Park and the first streetcar station in Oak Cliff from downtown, to open Fall 2015. Good Fulton & Farrell will complete the planning for the property.Southern Foods Group, the previous owner of the property, will continue to use the dairy for another year.
