Downtown Dallas tower debuts next week after makeover
The renovation of the 33-story, 844,000 sq. ft. tower at 2100 Ross is almost complete. Cousins Properties purchased the 32-year-old building in 2012.
Interior spaces are all new, with origionally dark interiors replaced with lighter-colored materials, and colorful art throughout. A second-floor excersize facility and conference center were added. The lobby is now arranged around gathering spaces for employees and a modern sculpture to be installed on the ground floor. Already, the occupancy rate has gone from 60 percent two years ago to more than 80 percent.
The project is nearing completion, with the final installation of the major art piece to begin in July.
