D-FW home prices up 6.7 percent in third quarter, Realtors’ report shows

Home prices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area were up 6.7 percent in the third quarter according to a new report, and the median sale price of a home reached an all-time high of $193,500. Meanwhile, the supply of homes in the D-FW area remains near an all-time low level, with the number of homes available to purchase down 10 percent from a year ago.
