City Center Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District

The City Center TIF District encompasses the traditional core of downtown Dallas bounded by Ross Avenue, Pearl Street, Bryan Street, North Central Expressway, Like Oak Street, Olive Street, Harwood Street, Young Street, Akard Street, Wood Street and Griffin Street.  The District was established in 1996 to enhance the downtown residential and retail markets and encourage new investment by providing a source of funding for public amenities and infrastructure improvements.
