Skillman Corridor Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District

Skillman Corridor TIF District is located approximately 9.5 miles northeast of downtown. The District is adjacent to Lake Highlands residential neighborhoods and close to the Central Expressway commercial corridor. The District was created in 2005 to enhance the real estate market and encourage new investment by providing a source of funding for public amenities and infrastructure improvements.
