South Side Public Improvement District (SSPID)
South Side Public Improvement District (SSPID) was first established in 2005 and started operating from January 1, 2006. The South Side area consists of approximately 60 properties and is a combination of business, residential, public and light industrial uses. South Side Quarter Development Corporation manages the PID. The general nature of the service and improvements provided by the PID are to enhance public safety and security , design and construct public infrastructure improvements, maintain common areas and lighting, pedestrian amenities and linkages and other improvements that are approved by the Dallas City Council.
