Mortgage company moves division to northwest Dallas

A New Jersey-based mortgage banker has moved one of its division headquarters to the Dallas area.

Real Estate Mortgage Network Inc. said Wednesday that it has set up the head office for its online lending division, FinanceMyHome.com, in far northwest Dallas.

The office at 12005 Ford Road near LBJ Freeway will have about 90 employees.

“Dallas has always been strong in the banking industry, and this central location makes an ideal setting for FinanceMyHome.com’s headquarters,” Tim Bartosh, executive vice president, said in a prepared statement. “In addition, the local real estate market holds great potential for Real Estate Mortgage Network to conduct in-person business in the community via our retail branch.”

Real Estate Mortgage Network bills itself as one of the largest privately held nonbank lenders in the country.

The company has been in business for more than 20 years and did more than $3 billion in home loans last year.

It has offices in 14 states.
