An Austin entertainment complex and bar is expanding to Dallas with a location in Uptown.
Kung Fu Saloon has rented the former Place at Perry’s restaurant, at Cedar Springs Road and Routh Street.
The longtime Dallas restaurant recently moved up the street to a new space in the Villa Rosa apartment and retail building.
That made room for Kung Fu Saloon, which plans to extensively remodel the building into a game room and bar.
The company, which also has a location in Houston, plans to have the Dallas location open early next year.
Kung Fu Saloons have vintage arcade games and a bar with more than two dozen beers on tap.
The restaurant building will be made over with a new brick exterior and outdoor spaces that open onto Cedar Springs.
CBRE Group broker Campbell Foster negotiated the 6,280-square-foot lease.
