Opportunity Areas

In addition to catalyst initiatives, Dallas has identified ten areas for more intense development. The City is targeting a disproportionate share of city bond funds in these areas, knowing that the capital improvements will support additional private investment. The areas below are long-established commercial centers that are either in transition from one dominant land use to another commercial use or which can be the site of more regional growth.
